Groups support Farm Bill definition for renewable forest biomass

60 groups, from conservation to renewable energy to wildlife to forestry, sent a letter today (PDF) to Secretary of Agriculture Vilsack supporting the 2008 Farm Bill definition for renewable forest biomass. The groups thanked the Secretary for his ongoing support of that definition as Congress debates energy and climate change legislation.

On January 26, 2010, Secretary Vilsack responded (PDF), reiterating his support of the 2008 Farm Bill definition for renewable forest biomass.
