Members of Congress urge EPA to change Boiler MACT Rule

Over 100 members of Congress sign a letter (PDF) to EPA Administrator Jackson to tell her that the proposed Boiler MACT rule will hamper manufacturing investments that create jobs. They state, “we are deeply concerned that the potential impact of pending Clean Air Act regulations could be unsustainable for U.S. manufacturing and the high-paying jobs it provides.” They continue, “We also believe that regulations can be crafted in a balanced way that sustains both the environment and jobs.”
