WASHINGTON, DC (September 29, 2008) – The National Alliance of Forest Owners (NAFO) announced today the appointment of Catherine Karen as vice president for government affairs. Karen will assume her new position on Oct. 6, 2008.
“We are pleased and fortunate to have Catherine as part of the NAFO team,” said NAFO President and CEO, Dave Tenny. “Her extensive experience working with Congress and Federal agencies coupled with her understanding of important issues, like energy and climate change, will greatly enhance NAFO’s advocacy capability in Washington, D.C. on behalf of private forest owners.”
